Residents urged to come forward and voice their opinions and ideas on the parking issue in Nundah
8 Apr
Residents were invited to voice their concerns on parking issues in Nundah at a forum being held on April 3rd. Federal Member for Lilley Wayne Swan and Councillor Kim Flesser (Northgate) hosted the meeting at the North-East Baptist Church. In February, the Northside Chronicle reported on parents who feared students’ lives were being placed at risk because of excessive traffic around Nundah State School.
“This was a great opportunity for our school communities, businesses and residents to come forward and voice their opinions and ideas on the parking issue in Nundah which are of ongoing concern to all local businesses and residents,” Cr Flesser said.
This is the first step in a process to improving sustainability of all local small business in the Nundah area and accessibility to local amenities including concerns about traffic safety.
