Join the schools all around Brisbane that are taking part and promoting 2012 as the National Year of Reading. Encourage your neighbours, friends family, the kids, workers, retirees, everyone you know to get involved.
Last year there was a competition to find books that would represent the States and Territories for this years National Year of Reading. Thousands voted and 8 books where chosen so if you like a mystery, a memoir, a journey into the outback, a sinister and haunting tale, an unsolved disappearance, uncontrollable desires, the horrors of war, laughter, heartbreak and a dark secret – you will find them all in the eight books which Australians have decided will be the National Year of Reading 2012 collection.
